Questions? We've got answers
What types of clients do you frequently partner with?
We specialize in web products, primarily partnering with US-based tech startups with successfully launched products. These companies typically aim to expand their development teams and tackle new initiatives such as creating product spin-offs, developing complex features, enhancing code maturity, reducing technical debt, and optimizing databases. We also support founders in developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
For all our clients, we provide a flexible service that covers product definition, design, and development.
Do you specialize in any particular industry or business type?
Vinta is industry-agnostic. We bring 10 years of experience solving complex problems across various industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Lawtech, Retail, Edtech, Wellness, and, in recent years, AI. Check out our case studies for more information.
Will we work with the same team members during the entire assignment?
Yes, we prioritize allocation stability. We aim to ensure that the same people remain assigned to you for the entire contract, providing consistent and reliable service. In the event of any disruptions, such as developers leaving the company, we quickly realign resources to minimize any impact on the service provided.
How quickly can you start on a new project?
We generally need about a month to begin a new project after signing an agreement. This period ensures we can allocate the appropriate resources and ensure a seamless start. Depending on the nature of the collaboration, the team may be assembled gradually to suit clients' requirements.
How does Vinta ensure my product won’t have security incidents such as data leaks?
Data security, defense-in-depth, and threat modeling are core tenets of Vinta’s practices.
We are experienced in assisting with SOC2 certifications, automated and manual checks for OWASP guidelines, and industry-specific compliance such as HIPAA.
Data backup and recovery plans are critical to mitigating ransomware and data corruption attacks. We also incentivize periodic live drills to ensure recovery capabilities work.
Our quality-focused approach to development workflows ensures security, as all code is reviewed and unit-tested.
Additionally, we recommend and prioritize the implementation of audit trails, stress testing, software supply chain security, and other related measures.
What are the terms of your standard contract agreement?
Vinta offers a standard hourly-based agreement based on the number of developers and designers and their seniority. We send an invoice each month reflecting only the total hours worked. We build the contract to meet the client's needs, ensuring the team size and project duration fit within their budget.
We usually have three types of agreements:
- Trial Project: Committing to a long-term contract with a new company can be challenging. To ease this process, Vinta offers short-term contracts lasting 2 to 4 weeks. These can involve product design, development, or a combination of both. We only charge for the hours worked during this period — no strings attached.
- Staff Retention: Vinta's most popular contract. It's ideal for long-term commitments. Requires a minimum of 3 months to ensure a dedicated, multidisciplinary team.
- MVP Project: This contract is ideal for founders seeking flexibility. Our average timeframe for building and launching to the market is 3 months, so we signed a contract. However, we only bill for the exact number of hours worked.
In every scenario, our sales team will contact you in the final month of a contract to discuss renewal. If the contract is not renewed, the team will be reassigned to different projects.
